Getting started
Download Kirshi from the App Store or Google Play, enter your phone number, verify your identity with a valid ID, and set a PIN. The whole flow takes under two minutes.
Yes — opening an account, holding a balance, and wallet‑to‑wallet transfers between Kirshi users are free. Only specific actions like international remittance carry a small, transparent fee.
Kirshi currently operates in 50+ countries across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. The full corridor list is available in the app.
Payments & transfers
Wallet‑to‑wallet transfers inside Kirshi are instant. International remittances typically settle within minutes; some corridors may take up to 24 hours. Bank withdrawals process in 1–3 business days.
Domestic transfers are free. International remittance starts at 1% with no hidden charges. Virtual cards are free to create; international card transactions carry a small FX fee. The exact fee is always shown before you confirm.
Yes. You can send to bank accounts, mobile money wallets, and cash pickup partners across supported corridors — the recipient does not need a Kirshi account.
Cards & spending
Virtual cards are digital Visa or Mastercard cards you create instantly. Each has its own number, expiry, and CVV. Use them anywhere cards are accepted online and freeze, set limits, or delete at any time.
Yes. You can withdraw to any partnered bank account or pick up cash at agent locations across Ethiopia and other supported markets.
Security & support
Kirshi uses 256‑bit AES encryption, PCI DSS Level 1 compliance, and continuous fraud monitoring. Accounts are protected with a PIN, optional 2FA, and biometric login on supported devices.
Sign in to Kirshi on a new device using your phone number and ID verification — your wallet, balance, and history are all restored. Your old session is automatically signed out.
